[Important] Regarding vessel allocation plans after April 1, 2026

Dear Customers

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of our shipping business.

We would like to inform you of our shipping schedule from April 1, 2026 onwards.

In previous years, we have operated special ferry services during peak seasons on the Hakata-Iki-Tsushima route and increased seasonal jetfoil service. However, due to crew shortages and considerations of working hours, we have been forced to postpone these measures this year.

We explained this matter to the cities of Iki and Tsushima in January 2026, received their approval, and have been proceeding with our shipping schedule.

However, further staffing shortages have arisen, forcing us to reconsider our shipping schedule.

Although the current situation is severe, ferries on the Hakata and Karatsu routes are expected to operate as originally planned.

Meanwhile, due to a serious personnel shortage, we have been forced to reduce our Jetfoil service from two vessels to just one.

In order to secure crew, we have signed a contract with a new company that operates a public recruitment website for crew members, and we plan to begin recruiting in March 2026. However, we currently have no idea when the crew shortage will be resolved.

Therefore, as a temporary measure, we will be temporarily operating one Jetfoil vessel for three months, from April 1 to June 30, 2026.

We sincerely apologize to our customers for any inconvenience and trouble this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in light of the current circumstances.
